Family adventure trip 8n/9days
Day 1 Arrival day. Airport transfer to hotel in San Jose.
Day 2 Leave after breakfast over the Central Volcanic highlands to arrive on our Caribbean slope for a  white water rafting trip in the Sarapiqui. Enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way, learn about: coffee, the altitudinal changes in the country, and experience the change in temperature from one place to the next. Enjoy local food for lunch and continue this afternoon to the area of Arenal Volcano, the most active volcano we have. It is impressive when red-glow material flows down from the slope on a clear night. (B, L)
Day 3 Today go for a guided walk in Arenal Volcano National Park. Later relax in the soothing hot springs and enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight in Arenal. (B,D)
Day 4 Continue this day to Monteverde crossing Lake Arenal. A transport will be picking you up at your hotel to take you to Lake Arenal where you will board a boat for a nice ride across this man-made lake in the 1970s. Then continue to the Green Mountain of Monteverde. Time in the afternoon for spending some time in the town of Santa Elena and its attractions. (B)
Day 5 Explore Monteverde this morning in a horse- back riding tour. Lush and thick pastures and then through forested areas that lead you to magnificent views of the Gulf of Nicoya. In the late afternoon you will be picked up to go for a night tour. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the life of the forest in the dark, quite different than in the day. (B)
Day 6. After breakfast continue to the beach. After the days of exploring the lush forest of Sarapiqui, Arenal and Monteverde it is time to go to the beach. A transport will be picking you up at your hotel in Monteverde taking you to Samara beach. This afternoon enjoy the blue waters of the Pacific. (B)
Day 7 Full day at the beach, at your leisure. Here is your opportunity to go snorkeling or maybe go kayaking. This is your choice here. (B)
Day 8 Leave Samara beach today to head to San Jose spending your last night there. (B)
Day 9 Departure day, airport transfer for you international flight. (B)
