Escorted TRIP for Spring break 2008,
Itinerary:
March 16th to 23rd, 2008
March 16th.
Upon arrival at the airport we’ll be meeting you and bringing
you to your hotel in San Jose. A briefing about your trip will be
delivered to you today along with very useful information. Welcome
to Costa Rica.
March 17th. This morning meet your other companion travelers as your guide introduces
everyone. Leave your hotel in San Jose going north through coffee
plantations. Go for a guided nature hike in La Paz Waterfall &
Gardens, imagine lush tropical Rain Forests, flowing white rivers,
spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies and flowers. Your guide
will take you through the trails of the Butterfly Observatory, the
Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Orchid Gardens, Authentic Casita,
Frog Exhibit and Waterfalls. Once you have finished, a delicious
buffet lunch awaits you. Enjoy lunch here and continue in the afternoon
to Arenal Volcano area. Overnight in front of Arenal Volcano. (B,

March 18th & 19th.
your guide will be taking you for a hike to Arenal Volcano National
Park and afterwards enjoy the soothing hot springs of the area.
Also, go for a horse back riding tour, or if you prefer the choice
is for the aerial sky tram with spectacular views of Arenal Lake
and Volcano. Optional Canopy tour or zip lines for those who reserve
the thrilling experiences to themselves. (B, D)
March 20th. Leave Fortuna area to continue to the
Central Pacific coast of the country. Beautiful landscapes along
the way. (B, L)
March 21st & 22nd Go for a guided walk to Manuel
Antonio National Park and learn about the transition forest protected
here. Enjoy leisure time at the beach. Also included a guided mangrove
boat tour with good opportunities to see wildlife. Plenty time to
relax at the beach. (B, D)
March 23rd. Departure day. Airport transfer for
your flight back home.
This trip includes:
Transport: All ground transportation
as indicated in itinerary.
Lodging: 7 night lodging, based on double occupancy
Meals: as in itinerary B, breakfast; L, lunch; D, dinner
Services of a bilingual naturalist guide.
Entrance fees to all included features as in itinerary.

international airfare, personal equipment, hotel extras (laundry,
phone calls, alcoholic beverages unless specified), personal insurance
coverage (recommended). Departure taxes US$26 per person to be paid
at the airport at departure.
